1. Introduction

Nûr Vakti ("we", "our", or "the app") is a prayer times and Islamic worship assistant application developed by Thracian Software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

By using Nûr Vakti, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Location Data: We collect your device's location (GPS coordinates) to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your area. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

User Preferences: Settings such as language, theme, calculation method, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device using local storage.

App Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which features are used) through third-party analytics to improve the app experience.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Financial or payment information
• Contacts, photos, or other personal data
• Browsing history outside the app

3. How We Use Your Information

• Prayer Times: Location data is used solely to calculate prayer times specific to your area.
• Qibla Direction: Location and device sensor data are used to determine the direction of the Kaaba.
• Notifications: If enabled, we use your prayer time data to schedule local notifications on your device.
• Personalization: Your preferences are used to customize the app experience (language, theme, etc.).

4. Third-Party Services

Nûr Vakti uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini API: The Islamic AI feature sends your questions to Google's Gemini API for processing. Questions are not stored or linked to your identity.
• Aladhan API: Prayer time calculations may use the Aladhan API. Only location coordinates are sent; no personal data is shared.
• Firebase: Used for the global Dhikr Chain feature. Only anonymous dhikr counts are synced; no personal data is collected.

5. Data Storage & Security

All user preferences and app data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers that store your personal data. We implement reasonable security measures to protect the data processed within the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Nûr Vakti does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require account creation or personal data input.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Revoke location permission at any time through your device settings
• Disable notifications through your device settings
• Reset all app data through Settings → Reset Data within the app
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
